God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. This happens when you put your faith and trust in His Son Jesus. In order to have a personal relationship with God you must believe and confess. Paul tell us this: “ If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

Baptism is going public with your faith. In baptism we are telling the world that we have trusted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and want to publicly identify in this way. Let us know if you’re ready to take the step of baptism.

One of the things we believe at FBC Belle Glade is that we are Better Together. God wired us for relationships and when we gather with other people who are on this faith journey we have the incredible opportunity to grow with one another.

The primary ways that we connect are through serving and gathering with a small group of like minded believers. If you’re interested in getting plugged into a small group be sure to reach out and let us know.

We believe that when we give we model the generosity that God showed toward each one of us when He gave us the very best, salvation through His precious Son Jesus.

Additionally, giving is our response to God as an act of worship, an act of obedience, an act of faith and an act of sacrifice.

When you give to FBC Belle Glade your resources go toward the mission and ministry of our church. Whether it’s giving digitally or through donation boxes at our church there’s a way for you to take that step of faith. (See below for ways to give.)

Each one of us should strive to be life long learners and for those who have put their faith in Jesus we have the incredible privilege to get to know how to be more like Him by studying the Word of God.

Part of becoming more like Jesus and knowing God’s will for your life, comes through what you learn about God. That is why we have provided a number of ways that will help you learn more about Jesus and what His will for your life is.

We believe that God is still in the business of working through prayer. Please take a minute to fill out our prayer card below and send it back to us so we know how we can be lifting you up in prayer as well as the ways that we can be praising God for how He’s working in your life.

When you pray to God, you are simply talking to Him. There are times when we are in great need and we cry out to Him to help us. We also pray to God to confess our sins and ask for help to live a godly life. God is gracious to forgive us and help us.

However, if we want to develop a relationship with Him, there should be other times that we pray. We can thank Him for helping us, pray for someone in need, or just tell God how much we love Him and praise Him for being good. When we have an ongoing conversation with God, we are growing in our relationship with Him.

It’s an awesome thing that God in His goodness left us with a love letter which explains how we can know Him and live a life that is pleasing to Him.  That love letter is what we call “The Bible."

The Bible shows us how to have a relationship with God, get to know God and His Son Jesus better and how to wisely navigate the world in which we live.  The best way to summarize the contents of the Bible is by quoting Jesus when He was asked…

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ …The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-49
